This is the last photo I will post today.   This is an old mansion in one of the better sections of one of the better towns in the area.   The owner is the Principal of one of our local high schools.  He lived in the smaller but newer house right next door and loved this house even though it was neglected and run down.  When the opportunity arose they bought it   They worked for several years to fix up the inside of the house and are now starting on the yard.   There is more to do later but they redid about 30,000 sq. ft. of the yard for now.  The house is very old but really nice.  This is the back of the house.

I don't always take photos of my jobs but will try to take more and post them.    I do want to thank the IAHP.   I have now finished 27 jobs this year since I started seeding 5 weeks ago.  Most all are as a result of my membership in the IAHP.  I have made more than enough money on those IAHP jobs to pay for a lifetime of memberships.   Anyone who is not a member is really missing out on something they should be part of.

These are some of my photos.  I think we all would enjoy seeing some of the photos of jobs you have done.  Please share them with us.

This is one of the first jobs I did this year.   Basically he had a very ratty yard and I had him spray his yard with Round-Up and seeded over the dead grass.   The one photo shows the conditions I started with and the other shows after I sprayed.   I have not been by to see how it turned out and it's about 45 miles away but I may have another job down that way and if I do will get some after photos.

This was a job I shot Friday and finished up on Monday.   This isn't the most expensive house I have done but I really like the design, the colors, the stacked stone they used and what I saw of the inside was really great.   It was about a one acre job.   If he ever gets tired of the house and wants to sell it I would love to buy it.  Of course I would have to win the lottery first 8)

This is another job from last year.   It is a company that sells and services Fire Trucks and they didn't want to have to mow the hillsides around their place.  I had them spray the hillsides with Round-up and I seeded over the dead grass.   The close up shows a little more of the conditions I was seeding in.   I did have my fingers crossed on this one.   I seeded Crown Vetch.   I have been past and it turned out beautify.   The next time I go past I will try to get some photos.  It is amazing how well it did.   There was probably 4000 feet of hillside 8-15' tall.

This is a job I did Saturday.   It is a house that is actually owned by the same guy who has the fish pond in his backyard.   He is a contractor.  While I was doing this one I had a number of neighbors stop and talk to me.  I guess this was a house that was neglected for decades but had a lot of potential.  I took a look in the windows.  The rooms are small but the workmanship on the inside was amazing.  He really did a great job of renovation and it is really going to be a great house for someone.

This one is one I did last week.  It is far from the fanciest house I have done but I have to say that I loved their back yard.   They had a pool as many do.   The son is on the school golf team and is supposed to be pretty good so they had a professionally installed putting green put in for him.  The guy you see in the photo was part of the 6 man crew installing the putting green.   They also had a pretty cool round pond that you can see in the photo stocked with gold fish about 12-18" long.  It looked like a back yard designed more to enjoy than for beauty but it was fairly pretty as well.

Here is another job from last year.  It is the office building for a large asphalt manufacturer.   The total job was about 3 acres.  I wondered a bit when I pulled in to start this job.  I saw a Finn unit sitting there and wondered if there was some confusion about who was doing the job.

There wasn't however and the guys with the Finn helped me a bit and seemed to love my machine.  Actually my hose amazed them and they kept bringing people over to see my hose.  They gave me a hand filling from the hydrant a number of times and were great guys.

This is the back yard I did on a house late last year.   I thought it looked really cool.  It was one of the prettier pool areas.

If it is of any help we used to buy our seed out of Baltimore.  The company we bought from was Landreth Seed.  From what they say they are the oldest seed company in the USA and used to sell seed to Thomas Jefferson.  The service was good and the prices were very good.  We dealt with Barb and the phone number is 800-654-2407

ECSVA,

I have a very close friend near Baltimore that is a huge seller of seed. He has some of the best varieties available. If you are interested in connecting please email me at info@terraworxservices.com and I will get you two connected. He is a great resource!

Please let me know either way.

Regards,

I just tried to email you, but it bounced back.  My email is Justin@ecsva.com if you want to pass it along.  Thanks.
