Several years ago we were getting around $2.00 per foot. I know 2 contractors that recently got $2.75 p/ft. They were installing reinforced fence which I know had something to do with the price. Alot of the price has to do with the type of fence. To bad where it was going couldn't be a factor.

I use a ditch witch 3700, drive stames and staple the fabric to it.  Works well for me, and silt fence in my area goes for alot less than $2lf.
