Hydroseeder mechanic/service near North Carolina?
« on: Fri April 26, 2024, 09:40:52 AM »
Hello everyone,
I have a GRUN HM600 I purchased about a year ago. I?ve had issues with the pressure ever since day one. We?ve taken the shaft out and replaced worn out bearings and everything lined up as it should be and we?re still having issues. I have a feeling it may be pump related. We currently work about 16-18 hours a day and honestly don?t have a lot of spare time to work on it. I?m trying to find someone who can work on this to help me get it running right that is within a reasonable amount of driving distance from Rockingahm, NC. Any help or contact info will be greatly appreciated!

As far as I know Grun is out of business.   Since the issue is the pump, what kind of pump is on that unit?   I don't have any answers for you right now but knowing what pump is on that HM600 might give me some ideas.

Thanks,   I thought that might be the case.   Monarch sold their US pump business to Franklin Electric a number of years ago.   I do think Franklin may have some service centers around.   You can call them and ask for Customer Service and see what they say.

I tend to think the issue may not be the pump itself but rather the suction line.  Check and make sure your suction line gaskets are there and in good condition.  Make sure there isn't even the tiniest of drips.   Any suction line issues will have a major impact on pump performance.   We do have parts in stock for the Mig 40 pump if you need any.
