Pressure out the gun?
« on: Sun June 28, 2020, 01:48:28 PM »
How much pressure roughly comes out the gun when spraying? 3 inch pump, 1 1/2 hose 100ft.

That is going to vary by how much pressure the 3" pump has.  Some 3" pumps have a maximum of 30 psi some may go as high as 90 or more.   You will have some line loss and of course if you have dragged your hose down a steep bank the pressure will be much higher and if you dragged it up a steep slope far less but assuming the hose is at the same level as the machine

There are so many factors that come into play such as does the hose have scovil (free flow) fittings, insert fittings or quick couplers.  It can vary on the type of hose.  Typically I would estimate with 150 feet of 1 1/2" hose,  at the gun would be 20-25% less pressure than the pump is putting out.
